History of Kevin Nash
Kevin Nash spent 3 Years playing Baskettball at the University of Tennessee
helping the Volts to the sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. But he always had
troubles with his Head-Coach and quickly got the reputation of being a Heathead
and a Troublemaker. He didnt agreed with the system at Tennessee and missed
the communication with the Coach, when there was a problem, he said! Tennesses
Headcoach said after a dispute with junior Center Kevin Nash ( No.43), that
it was in the best interest of Kevin and the Baskettball-Team that he no
longer be a part of the Tennessee Program. In 1980 Kevin left TU and played
at the Big Green! Then he took his great Talent and his Game to my Country
"Germany" and stayed there for 4 Years, till a bad Knee injury endet hes
career in 1985. He always wanted to be a part of the NBA, but the doctors
told the 25-Year old Kevin, that he never will be able to play Pro-Baskettball
again.
So he went to the Army and begame a GI and again he spent 2 Years as soldier
in Germany (Gießen). He said, he didnt know what he wanted to do with
his Life and the army tought him descipline and the value of hard Work. After
his discharge, he went back to America and worked as a bouncer at a strip
-bar in Atlanta. One Day he went into the TV-Station WTBS, because he was
looking for a job. The Guys from the TV-Station told him, he would be a good
Pro-Wrestler and he went to a Wrestling school and worked as a Jobber. Since
he was a little Boy, he was a big Fan of Pro-Wrestling and now he is one
of the biggest Stars Pro-Wrestling has ever seen. Its sounds like a little
bit of this Way of American Life, but it was a long hard way for Kevin!!!!
He lost his Dad Robert Nash, when he was only 3 Years old. 2 Days after
Chrismas in 1994 his Mother Wanda, his confidante and inspiration growing
up, lost her 4-Year-Fight against cancer! A short time after that Kevin also
lost his Stepfather.
Someone told me, that Kevin is a deeply religious Man and I think that
was the thing that gave him back his strength to go on! Every Moment of Lifetime
you have to enjoy, because it can be your last. You also have to figure out
"What is really important in my Life?" There is nothing more important than
Family!!!
Kevin Nash is a great Pro-Wrestler, he is the heart and soul of the Wolfpac,
but he is also a Husband and a Daddy!!!! I am sure his wife Tamarra and his
sweet little son Tristan are the most important persons in his Life. They
are his home, his power, his silence and his place to take a deep breath,
close the door and only be Kevin Nash............
This is my Way to say Thank you to Kevin Nash, for being a great Wrestler
and great Person!!!!!
